Alkaline Trio – This Addiction

For This Addiction Alkaline Trio wanted to return to their roots and made an album that was more personal. Matt Skiba stated:

“The whole record is really personal, all three of us have been through quite a bit since our last album and it is all expressed through this, all the songs are about the relationships we’ve been in and so the record has a constant theme.”

This Addiction was the highest-charting album of for the band. It reached number one on the Independent, Rock, and Alternative Albums charts.
