The Resistors are a punk band from Brooklyn, NY who have recently released their new LP Rational Policy for the 19th Century. They were formed in 2012, by guitarist/vocalist Scott Wolff. The band is straight up punk rock for fans of Good Riddance, 88 Fingers Louie and Bad Religion.
Here is some more information from the band:
Rational Policy is a reaction to the general bumout of the world in 2018. It’s not going to fix any of the problems we’re facing, but if you play it loud enough, you might fly backwards into a wall and break all of your bones, which would at least create some sort of distraction. The album features ten new songs and what we think is a pretty killer cover of the Kenny Loggins smash hit, Danger Zone.
Resistors are a politically conscious punk band and have been around in one form or another since 2012. This is our sixth record, and we’ve also been featured on some comps, including A Fat Comp, which was released along with the A Fat Wreck documentary.
